Hybrid DVD 1-5 (Story about a girl who on her first arrival to Tokyo finds out about existence of so called battle dolls and the great competition they participate in. It is a new over-popular game and local kids are crazy about it. Here she finds new friends, grows up and finally learns about her mother who disappeared years ago. CLAMP design, nice music, likable characters (exept for the mother whose motive to leave her daughter behind is beoynd my comprehension). No extras.)

Really touching series: calm pace, pastel artwork, nice music, real-life characters which grows on you while changing themselves and trying to change their circumstances. Booklets and extras are included.)

Hybrid DVD 1-4 (Who said that boys love is always about feminine guys constantly kissing and self-analazing? Here is the pair of two freaks: one is a hot headed, naive yet faithful pop singer and another is a cold-blooded egoist with dark past and lovely fiancee. Add a rival with split personality, manager with kill-them-all attitude, producer with kind heart and weak head and you have a crazy mixture of comedy, heart-breaking romance, drama and nice driving J-pop. As always from Nozomi this addition contains all the extras, the box is a nice looking piece.)

Hybrid DVD 1-5 (Great Teacher Onizuka indeed! Fantastic series about 22-year old Onizuka who leaves his band to become a teacher. His only goal is to turn grey school days for his students into fun. There are moments of pure fantasy otherwise Onizula is lucky like Devil. But all of us, I guess, has dreamt about such a teacher to bright up the school routine.)

Hybrid DVD 6-10 (He is understanding yet pig-headed, kind yet strict and just, faithful but a womanizer. He is full of contradictions, but it is what wins his students' hearts and draws everyone (well, almost everyone) to him. Steady box, nice artwork.)

Hybrid DVD 1-6 (Space saga about school kids left alone in cosmos. Very different from your normal "big space ships, big fights, noisy mecha" series. It is more about human relations under stress circumstrances than anything else. It is very intersting to watch them grow, change or degradate from what each of them was before all adults responsible for the space school died. No lame types, all personages are unique and realistic. Sci-fi add-on is the creature who operates the ship. Her reaction to human emotions and actions is also very touching. Very good animation, great music. Nice box design with all the original extras included.)

Hybrid DVD 1-3 (Enjoyable comedy with very touching moments. It consists mostly of stand alone episodes. There is some simplicity to each story and it is better not to watch the series in one sit, but it has its unique ways, especially design. Jing is cool, Kirby is.. lol :) No extras.)
