3x3 Eyes (manga) Good I've only read the first volume so far. It's pretty good; not sure if I'll read anymore, especially since Dark Horse has only released 8 out of 40 volumes and will not release anymore so there doesn't seem to be much point in bothering with it; they also made it difficult to determine which order you're supposed to read the volumes in. Overall I enjoyed what I read for the most part. The first episode of the anime OVA covers the events that volume 1 of the manga covers, but the manga is a lot more thorough and detailed.
Berserk (manga) Excellent
Eden - It's an Endless World! (manga, Hiroki Endo) So-so
Gantz (manga) Good
Inuyasha (manga) So-so Starts out okay but then gets way too repetitive and its something that they should have just made into a video game. It seriously has all the elements of an adventure game from the setting to the boss fights, to looking for a bunch of pieces to a specific item. Kind of sounds like the 1986 Legend of Zelda in some ways. I only read a couple volumes so maybe it gets better after that.
MPD-Psycho (manga)

Akira (manga) Excellent
Banya: The Explosive Delivery Man (manhwa) Decent Storylines might make for good side-quests on RPG games; they were entertaining and everything but nothing spectacular. I didn't like any of the characters at all; all of them were completely one-dimensional and lacked any depth whatsoever. Banya is just that honorable mailman with an insanely high level of dedication and a great enthusiasm for his job; he's also extremely goofy at times, and that's really about it. Toward the end of the series we learn some dark secrets about Banya's past; these secrets, which were never hinted at toward the beginning unless I missed something, seemed to be tacked on for the sake of adding depth to the character, which doesn't work as he still seems like a complete sap, especially given that he cares so deeply for Mei who treats him like complete and utter crap throughout the whole novel. Mei is a hippie nature chick who loves animals, etc. She also seems irrational and psychotic and abusive towards the other two main characters and has no redeeming values whatsoever and I can't for the life of me understand why the other characters even like her. I am left utterly baffled by claims from other readers that Mei is such a strong motherly female lead; she's an abusive emotional basket case! Kong is basically like a little brother to Banya; and that's about all he is. I really did like the artwork to this series, though and would rate that highly. Probably one of the amusing highlights of the series was when the characters smeared the Gorigon feces all over their face and body in order to prevent the dangerous Gorigon from detecting their presence. All in all, while I thought the series was okay, I was really expecting it to be great given everything I've read about it and it was a bit of a disappointment.
Domu (manga) Decent
Ichi the Killer (manga) Good
