Maybe it means that something on his list got licensed.

Holy crap, outstanding news! It's still a shame to hear -still- no Wellber, but I love each and every one of these (Yes, Dragonaut included) and can't WAIT to see them over here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they all get dubbed...X3

Some other Gonzo title.

But no They pick Dragonute >_> >_> _>_ >__>_>>_>_>_>_>
Dragonute Sucks Majorly.

More to come next week huh.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Sumomo Momomo
When they Cry 2
Hell Girl 2 and 3
The taking away of Clannad from ADV Films
Shana 2

I could see more gonzo titles, but i'd question any "geneon" licenses, but then as far as i go, when funi licenses stuff it gets flagged "wait till box set" where i tend to be more gungho about Bandai ADV or anyone but funi titles.

-Gabe, who still think Funi is to big

Bamboo Blade does have promise, so I am eagerly awaiting to watch this in English. The first episode of Druaga was too bizare for me to continue the series, regardless of how "serious" the show may have gotten. As for Dragonaut, I am not really into mecha that much.

First the new Eva movie, now Bamboo Blade. I like what I am seeing Funimation, as usual your doing a great job licenseing great shows. Now only if the Hare and Guu finale was licensed...

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised by Dragonaut...the one that surprises me is Blassreiter.

It was like watching Divergence Eve quality animation...5 years later. Mind boggling.

More new licenses, but still no word on D. Gray-Man or Murder Princess ever being released.

::sigh::

Oh Druaga.

Why couldn't you have just stayed comedy gold like episode one?
It did. bar the last two episodes, it was subtle (and often not-so-subtle) parody throughout.

I wonder if they'll even recoup the DVD-pressing losses on Dragonaut. The extremely limited "so-bad-it's-terrible-but-let's-point-and-laugh-for-a-while" market probably isn't a big one.

Actually you'd be surprised, pretty much that's how me and my friends treat Appleseed, and the Superfriends seasons. So bad it's funny.

I'd really love for Seto no Hanayome to be licensed.

That was a Gonzo collab, right?
Yes but it's too good to get a licnece, clearly funimation are under orders from ZARDOZ to only licence shit to good shows.

Why the hell do they have all the Gonzo x BOST titles except for Strike Witches?

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Because that show won't draw a dime in US. No need to waste big bucks on a title that won't see big returns.

The Murder Princess collection drops in May I believe.

No Strike Witches Crying or Very sad ? First emoticon I've used on these forums to the best of my knowledge. Yes, I am sad. I liked Strike Witches(dang proud of it, too) and would buy it in a heart beat...and if the Japanese extras were included I would probably buy my first ever limited edition(s)/artbox(es).
Enough of that, though. I've heard of all these, but none of them appeared overly interesting/good. Bamboo Blade was the exception, but aside from IGPX I don't really like sports themed anime...or in general.

I watched up to episode 5 (and then I later watched the episode, 8 I think it is, that reverted back to true comedy, like the 8 bit onsen scene. Hilarious. But no, the other 10 or 11 episodes don't come even near the comedy that those two episodes had.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about Jill and the gang and their quest to find the tower and stuff. I was just extremely disappointed that Gonzo unloaded all their hilarious RPG jokes in the first episode.
