Regardless of all this stuff, I doubt Media Blasters has long to live. I hate to write off another company, but I have to be realistic here.
The major players are just FUNimation and Sentai. Every other company either doesn't do a whole lot (Release half as much as FUNi and Sentai), or just dabbles in anime. The situation gets more and more grim. While pretty much everything everyone wants to watch gets licensed in some way, lots of these titles are regulated to streaming only. Those of us who want a physical release are screwed over, and have to import. |
