Hope you guys don't mind me copying this press-release in here. This is big news! It's fantastic that Showmasters are starting to move into anime & manga in such a big way with voice actors like Vic Mignogna attending their show! Anime smile

Animeleague, located at http://www.animeleague.com will be 100% supporting London Film & Comic Con (http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com), an annual event of 30,000 people that is now seeking to move into anime & manga in a serious way - in much the same manner that MCM Expo moved into the anime & manga arena a number of years ago. It takes place at Earl's Court on the 18th and 19th of July and entry is just £5 for the day.

Team Dimension, a partnership between Animeleague and Dimensional Entertainment, will be attending this event to run their Artist Ally, and Animeleague Gamers will be running their Video Gaming.

Team Dimension specialise in teaching the creation of manga to aspiring artists across the UK. Their Artist Ally will include panels and events such as the Iron Artist, Manga Creation, a Portfolio Workshop, and will feature guest artists from Dimensional Entertainment. Whether you wish to improve your artwork, show off your skills, or simply to have fun and draw with your friends in a relaxed environment, it is worth stopping by! You can sign up to learn under Team Dimension on their forum on Animeleague located at http://www.animeleague.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=203

Meanwhile Animeleague Gamers aims to bring video gaming to London Film and Comic Con in a major way. Whether your tastes involve DDRing, the more traditional fare of console gaming, or retro-gaming, there will be something to suit all video gamers alike. Throughout the day, AL Gamers will be running gaming tournaments that anyone can participate and have fun in.

London Film & Comic Con will also have a number of voice-actor guests present, which include Vic Mignogna and Spike Spencer. They will also be looking toward improving on their existing anime and manga events, which include the masquerade, screenings and various other activities which should interest fans of anime and manga.

Animeleague are very excited at this opportunity to help bring this event more into the anime and manga fandom. The last major expansion in anime and manga occured when MCM began to use their resources to develop the industry and fandom - by helping London Film & Comic Con, under Showmasters (which also includes the Collectormania events amongst others) to do the same, they expect to be able to massively move anime forward in the UK! London Film and Comic Con is also a member of Manga Alliance (http://www.mangaalliance.com) which aims to move anime and manga forward in the UK and help to progress it into the mainstream (that will have an official Autumn launch).

This is not all that London Film & Comic Con shall be doing with anime & manga this year. Showmasters have informed us that they will shortly be issuing a further press-release with a lot more information on the other anime events/activities which they will be doing.
