Yeah, that's way higher than 5D's.

in all of "Chibi Maruko-chan" pages here at ANN the vintage says that this anime, any parts/seasons of it, is from early 1990s...

does this mean that a re-run became so popular currently on japanese tv?..

No, it means the show is still running. Rolling Eyes

The why, again, all of ANN encyclopaedia entries state "vintage" as final, ended periods from early 1990s with quantity of episodes that would mean that the shows ended long time ago? Rolling Eyes

As you can see here, there is no ending date for Chibi Maruko, meaning that it is still ongoing.

Thanks for the extra numbers. I'd hoped Gintama was doing better but I don't know how that compares with other seasons. Plus Bleach's numbers suck for prime-time..any chance its nearing an end in prime-time?

Oh and Beelzebub Sunday 7am..that made be laugh..odd time slot for that show.

It says "episode titles", not episodes. Apparently noone submitted a complete list of episode titles, that's why there's only 93 of them. When you look at that page, you'll find it takes big leaps from 1995 to 2000 to 2006 (about ep. 550).

thanks everyone for the explanations...

by the way, if people who actually saw all of these episodes exist, then this could be kind of achievement in itself...

i do not mean only this "chibi" anime, but also other ones who run like from 1969 non-stop... people who watch all of that might be worthy of a monument for their efforts...

its mostly due to the fact zaxal is in a pemium time slot while 5ds didn't get a good time slot.
