A few more weeks until we find out how Momoiro Clover Z's version turned out.

Tbh I thought the first version of the opening was vastly superior to this new one, Etsuko Yakushimaru has a very unique voice that matches really great with the tone of the song, while the newest version sounds very forced, like a seiyuu who's not used to singing (I'm aware that's not exactly the case but...). As for the new ED, it's a HUGE step-down from the flawless first ED, this one is honestly pretty boring and too cute for my taste, plus the out of place male voices. I wish they'd go back to Michiru and Haruka instead

Agree with you totally on the second ED not being as good as the first one. I just can't get into that ChibiUsa ending (even if she is my third favorite Sailor Senshi/Scout), but I adored the Haruka/Michiru one. I wish they had either played the ChibiUsa ending first, or had the HaruMichi ending last longer.

And it's nice to see someone else that liked the first OP. I thought I was in the minority on enjoying that version, even though I am getting used to the second version of it. I

^Speaking of the new ED, unless they surprise me, I'm not really looking forward to Mamoru's song since I didn't really like his previous song done for the Crystal Collection album.

The first version is vastly superior to the second, and the new ending makes my ears bleed.

Very odd timing for a Chibi-usa ending. I feel a Chibi-usa ending would have been most appropriate for the Black Moon or a possible Dream arc. Instead, I think an ending by Ai Maeda (Pluto's CV) would've been a better choice to follow a Uranus/Neptune duet.

As for the opening, I like both versions. The original is definitely my favorite though. Etsuko Yakushimaru is very hit or miss for me, but I felt her vocals fit the opening the best.

My theory is Mamoru is providing back-up for his daughter. Though I've seen some people joke the male voices sound like Wiseman/Death Phantom, which is an amusing thought. Laughing

I too like the first version of the OP better than the second. A lot of people I've seen said that they didn't care for it, but I think the singer's voice fit the song better then the new singer's voice does and I agree with a poster above that it sounds a bit forced where the first singer sounds much more natural.

I hated the ED whenI I first hesrd it and refused to even listen to the whole thing. I later listened and it's actually quite catchy, but out of place with this season of SMC. I read somewhere and I agree that they should have saved this ED for dream arc, if they are gonna do it (but I see no reason why now with the positive buzz the new season is getting).
