I'm okay with this. I hope the gentleman thieves will be more than just cameos this time though.

Aah Anime hyper Not another new anime. I have been postponing watching the rest of the series after season one for ages now, and every time I think now's my chance they add yet another new entry..

As far as I know, you should only bother watching the second season. Razz
With all the OVA, including Alternative.

Since with Futari wa Milky Holmes, the franchise took a really different turn.

This is the show that stars a flamboyant chap with surprisingly expressive nipples, is it not? Whatever happened to him, out of interest?

@Cetais: The movie was more of a return to form, though. Really, I see no indication that they can't make the series like the fan-beloved first two seasons, just that they choose to do different things.

... now, wait until the new anime is entirely about Feathers.

It won't ever be popular again, since they aren't going back to the old designs.

I'll look forward to it, then. After watching the third season. (Well, the real third season, not Futari wa Razz )

He and the rest of the gang weren't part of the story in the latest season, so he only made a brief cameo. I haven't seen the movie nor season 3 though.

The Phantom Thief Empire features prominently in the movie, as their presence in the movie's advertising indicates.

Starting at the Third season, a different group of people at JC Staff took over producing the series, hence the change in form, and desperate attempt at getting over their OCs, The Feathers and whatever the hell Kokoro's partner's name was.

The movie marked the return of the original team.

Makes sense. I was aware the director returned with the movie.

What better way to start the new year than a new season of detective work? Cool
