Still not sure what to expect from this. It sounds super generic, but it has some good authors working on it, so I have some hopes. Whether or not I watch it might just depend on how hectic that season is for me.

Considering that "Henneko" and "SNAFU" are licensed by Sentai and "Date A Live" is licensed by Funi, it likely be either of them. Since Aniplex and Funi have done various broadcast dubs, I think it's time for Sentai to try it out and this series could be what they start with.

Sums up my view on this series. While each writer's original work has given me 3 anime series I've really enjoyed, sometime having too much of a "good thing" ruins everything...

Haven't seen that. So, can't comment if that was a case of too many chefs. My impression, from the info I did read, was that the names attached didn't have heaps of involvement in the overall product that was produced. May be wrong on that.

Yeah, basically most of the big names created specific characters in Chaos Dragon, but had no involvement in the creation of the scenario itself. And the animation production also clearly had some time/money issues, because it looked terrible on top of being a thematic mess. But yes, Narita, Urobuchi, Nasu, etc. really had nothing to do with the show, they just created basic character profiles for the table top game.

Just realised my post originally had a "did" instead of "didn't". Laughing

Ah, well, then I'm glad I put that one on the back burner. Now, I'll just take it off the list.
