There's no way that this film will have an all Japanese cast if it's gonna be involved with bigger budgets and produced by Warner Brothers and their ilk and such. Justin Lin has to go indie for that to happen, while saying that Hollywood has to evolve? Not likely either if it's regarding casting choice. We all want equality, but deep down, it ain't possible.

If it's a Hollywood that HIRES Justin Lin, it's not "evolving" anytime soon.
You're at the very geological epicenter of being part of the problem, Justin, what made you think you were part of the solution?

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any Japanese movie actors fluent in English that are young and fit enough for this role. There are a few actresses who might fit. Let's gender-bend this! Very Happy
