If we could get a second season of the anime, I'd buy the first. I rather enjoyed it until that sudden, bizarre ending..

Enlighten me fans: this seems rather sudden, so did it have a satisfying conclusion?

No. It did not. End was rushed and cliche. I'll admit I enjoyed Penggys clutch save, but the story and other characters were just bland.

I meant did the story itself end on a "end-like" note instead of in medias res or on a cliffhanger. Since I haven't read the manga or watched the anime, I can't make claims on quality.

Now can we finally get a story focused on Tooru and the other members of the 4th Special Division? Because they really deserve it after what happened in Ga Rei: Zero.

Yeah, the final boss was beaten, everyone's depowered, and all of the important people are alive.

Being meaning to read the manga for a while now, but I did saw the adaptation, and thought that it was OK. A 2nd season would be nice.

oh its done? this has been an odd one for me, i initially liked it but somewhere down the line i grew disinterested in it. took a break around chapter 60 something so i guess i just have to finish it off. The sexy combat clothes was my "I'm leaving"
I was incredibly disappointed in the story when it randomly decided to switch protagonists with that ice girl somewhere in the middle and then when we switch back to Rinka her 'dark' side and how she deals with it seemed really cliched.
The hidden bad guys behind everything was a good idea but they seemed shoehorned in and didn't really flow in the story naturally. Reminded me too much of what i disliked about bleach and naruto in the latter stages of their publication.
I was also annoyed at how the story treated Minami but i suppose I'm to blame for thinking that she could reconcile with kyotaro

I'm reading the manga released by Vertical and I'm really liking the story. At first I wasn't into it but by the second volume, I was having allot of fun with it. Looking forward to seeing how it ends.

It really felt like Tokyo ESP had all these grand overarching plans for the story but fell through over the last 20 chapters. The ending itself was entirely rushed and felt like the manga was cancelled before the mangaka had a change to end it naturally.
I really enjoyed Tokyo ESP up until the last 20 chapters where the conflicts went into full swing.

This series is like the Japanese version of the x-men
it wasn't bad-- they probably have enough contents for a 26 episode series

News surprises me, but I'm a big fan of the series. Just over a 3rd of the way through, and have loved Vertical's releases!

While I did buy the first season, I'll agree that it ended rather oddly, and left me asking, "Where is the rest of it?" Unfortunately, I doubt we'll see another season.
