Yes!!!!! More Ittoki Otoya and ultimately more songs with Eiichi Otori. Kind of wish we got more songs this season as theres quite a few more duet songs I want with some of the mixes.
I also hope for more of the three way songs like we had in s3. Code TVU was like the best mix of voices for UtaPri. Like Syo, Cecil, and Ren go so well together. Also I liked the theater versions with UtaPri x Quartet Night. We need some with UtaPri x Quartet Night x HEAVENs. |

Oh man. We really didn't need another season. It's too much at this point. 2 seasons, okay, I get it. But 5 seasons!?!? It's so meh anyways. Aren't we getting a movie as well??

Why are some people so rude? If you don't like it, simply don't watch it, no need to spoil the fun for other fans of the anime.
For me, more of Utapri will never be a bad thing! But this new project may not be a new season though, maybe a movie, which is great too. Actually,I hope it'd be a movie with a more focused plot and movie-quality concerts/ dance number scenes.

They already announced a movie last year...but another anime ontop of that is sort of much. Also the "don't watch if you don't like defense" is pretty old. Just because we critic something that doesn't mean it's bad. It has it'a audience just like any other anime. I watch this series myself (not this season though), it's just feels like they r just throwing the anime out there for money now. |

I mean, it's not totally unexpected, even if a bunch of us did think season 4 would be the last season. I'm more surprised they announced it so early.
I'm more curious as to what it actually is. "Anime project" sounds vague as all hell and it doesn't necessarily mean season 5. Personally, I'm hoping for a Quartet Night or Heavens spinoff but god knows A-1/Broccoli loves their Starish boys. Though honestly, I'm reacting to this with much less enthusiasm than I thought I would have. I adore Utapri, I've watched all 4 seasons and give them rather high ratings, I buy way more Utapri merch and official goods than I dare to admit. And yet even I'm kind of tired at the announcement of yet another Utapri anime project. It doesn't help that the anime has much worse characterisation than the games. I'd rather have the games translated into English than another season. |

About the movie, are you referring to this? animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-08-12/new-uta-no-prince-sama-theater-shining-project-teased/.91574 It's stated in that article the format of the project is still unknown though. Considering it's been already over a year and nothing has been revealed about that project could we assume that and this newly announced project are, in fact, the same? About the new project, while I agree that people are free to criticize anything, there's a difference between saying you don't want something and something just doesn't deserve to be made, imo. Personally, I still enjoy Utapri greatly and I think the 4th season is a step up from the 3rd season and there're still lots of potentials for stories and improvements should they decide to make more of it. So yeah, more Utapri is always welcomed! |

Did no one click the link in that article? The project was released it was that play thing audio drama and song for the groups: Polaris, Buddy Police, Pirates of the Frontier, and Bloody Vampire Night(sp?). |

JESUS When will Broccoli stop milking this "trash". The only decent season that Utapri had is Season 2 the rest is legarbage specially S3 and S4, and they really should remove that romance tag where there's like 0 in it.
I can already say that their other anime adaptation "B-project" is better than 4 seasons of Utapri combined, I hope that Bandai's Idolish7 anime can shut them up since it's the one reigning above Utapri now, truthfully. The writers are just trolling with the scripts the only thing that they really want to sell is the franchise game, single and albums itself, but not the anime. Ik I dont have the right to say this but I really do hope that those fans would stop buying the utapri anime franchise and just support the game instead. |
