I thought My Hero Academia would have gotten a lot more votes. And I can see why Haikyuu would be the next "poster manga." I'm Haikyuu biased so this makes me happy (*^ _ ^*)

And Togashi still wont write new chapters. 25 issues of Jump since the previous chapter and counting. I dont know why they bother counting it in this sort of polls, so far HxH has missed more issues than it has appeared on since it's debut. |

Not counting One Piece because it's aready the current poster manga, I think My Hero Academia will become the next big fighting shounen although I dont think it will get as big as Bleach or Naruto since the anime of HeroAca airs with large breaks and is not permanently generating interest.
Haikyuu is jump's current most popular sports manga series, kinda like Tennis Ouji and Eyeshield in their prime, and I think it will stay like that until it ends. The fujoshi fanbase is just too strong 
Aside from those that are already popular, I think The Promised Neverland will become an insiders tip, kinda like Death Note, which only had bad to average vote results in the jump but got popular in the west when the anime adaption came out. I'm surprised Hunter X Hunter got so much votes, with Togashi's work morale his manga as jump's poster manga will most likely never happen. Toei wanted to make World Trigger a big shounen hit, but it never really got through (kinda like Toriko) and the jump votings for it are avergae, so I don't see the potential in it anymore to become a jump poster manga. I'm curious about Black Clover and Shokugeki no Soma's future. The first one is a shounen by the book and the second one is a really unusual manga to be popular in the jump, so my guess would be that Black Clover will end up like World Trigger, this time being Pierrot's try to make it a long running shounen hit. I don't know what to think about Soma, but I guess it will stay as a manga/anime series that's only popular with anime fans. |

It's very interesting how Haikkyu has been riding on such a good streak, even though I haven't tried it yet, it sure as hell made enough of a memorable hit. I wonder how this would look when One Piece ends or is closer to its end.

Woo there's still some World Trigger fans out there, I wish it'd gather more interest...
I'm not reading Haikyuu so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it approaching it's finale? There's only so many years in high school and unless they do a next-gen thing I can't see this running for very long. I say they should wait for the next true long running series before they go picking their poster manga. |

Promised Neverland have a really good rating in japanese WSJ polls, but I don't think it can be a long-running hit - it surely can share the fate of Death Note or Assassination Classroom, but I don't think it can run at least a decade. Suspense mystery manga just isn't good genre for that, and it's plot advancing really fast. But current problem of WSJ that it's ended all of manga series running at least decade, except One Piece and HunterXHunter, if Togashi will break his streak of hiatus again (the last will be Gintama, which is on the final arc) - but the current running series except established hits like My Hero Academia, Shokugeki no Soma or Haikyuu don't meet the popularity or sales number of the old series even on their decline. And that's the serious deal. |

All the more reason for Haikyuu to get a f***ing dub.
Maybe I'm just conservative, but I hope MHA is the true poster manga; Horikoshi deserves it. It's got really fast pacing though, so we'll have to see if it can last like a Big 3 series. |

It’s only the first January of the main character’s 1st year and it's at Chapter 238. There's still a lot more to flesh out all 3 years if they go the ful high school route. Considering it’s one of the consistently hot properties for Weekly Shounen Jump, it will be taken care of until it drops off in popularity. |

Especially as I saw recently, that even with an anime, it was ranked towards the lower-middle of the Shonen Jump rankings. That is great for a gag manga, but not a big action/adventure shonen to base a multi-million circulated shonen magazine around. |
