D4 Princess is interesting because the manga and the anime, despite having a common background (Panzer as a "sport") go in complete opposite directions, to the point they can be safely considered two different series (and I'd love to hear why that happened). The anime is more lighthearted save for the final two episodes and while I enjoyed those, the "events" really came out of nowhere and changed the pace too much.

Outlanders, how I wish this became a TV series, instead of an OVA. Still I have the western style comic manga.

Of this lot, Outlanders and Puppet Princess have both been release on DVD and VHS, though the former was 11 years ago (for the DVD) and the latter 16 years ago (for both). Have the former but would definitely be interested in seeing Discotek pick up the latter.

Princess Lover is a decent but forgettable harem series which, notably, has an OVA episode that's full-on hentai. I'm also a bit surprised that it never got picked up. That Sisters of Wellber never got picked up has always surprised and disappointed me, as it's one of the rare female buddy stories in anime that isn't magical girl or yuri.

Ya know I randomly bought a figure from the series years ago. I enjoyed the design so I looked into it. Saw that it had an OVA episode as well. I did not realize BEFOREHAND that the episode was full on hentai. Awkward moment when you're watching that with your gf in the room lol.

And as for the new poll obviously it's all about the Ramen.

Even though I was a NaruSaku shipper from the beginning, after the end of Shippuden (and the ending on that front being known for years now) I can't say that Naruto and Hinata is wrong. Granted, my shipping of Naruto and Sakura was always primarily about personal preference and not chemistry per se, and NaruHina was probably my second choice anyways.

Love the title of this list. Very creative and amusing. : )

Okay, who else laughed when they saw "Villager B" in the poll? That just killed me. XD

Incineroar didn't make the list at all? Dang, guess a heel wrestler-inspired Pokémon doesn't sit right with fans.

As much as I love and support NaruHina, the one and only OTP of Naruto is Shikamaru+Temari

I may need to set some time aside to watch Neo Ranga and Risky Safety, since I've never heard of those shows before...

Poll: I voted for Hinata. As I watched deeper into the show, I had a feeling that Naruto and Hinata were destined to be together...

Thought Outlanders DID get a cheap Streamline-style (not Streamline, though?) indie dub, back in the birth-of-anime days when ecchi/gore OVA's were all that did get released. I remember hearing the characters with cheap early-90's dubbed-hentai voices, or maybe I just remember it that way.
But most of those fell into the same pit that Streamline fell into, when the US anime industry finally moved onto actual mainstream TV series.

(One of the very first anime I ever happened to wander across in convention rooms, btw, back when nobody could imagine the idea of animated boobs or catgirls...)

Puppet Princess remains one of my all-time favorite OVAs! It's everything Lynzee writes about, but what makes it truly shine is Princess Rangiku herself--steely one moment, disarmingly sweet--innocent, even--the next, and how her flip-flops keep her ninja retainer constantly off balance.

Then there's Outlanders--now, Kahm is a space princess who truly believes in the hands-on approach--like coming to Earth and dismembering/decapitating JSDF soldiers, then instantly falling in love with the civilian photographer capturing her carnage...

Both titles are Discotek fodder if ever there were any (dropping not-so-subtle hints here...)

Not sure how/where you'd find either. Both are long out of print, and I don't know if either is available for legal streaming. Can't vouch for Risky Safety, but Neo Ranga is a fun watch of 48 12-minute episodes, well worth your time if you can find it. The combination of giant monster "gods" and the often anchored-in-reality reactions of the Shimabara sisters and their ordinary-folk neighbors was engaging.
