I think it’s a smart decision to go the opposite direction with the humor when comparing it to the more grounded, harsh appeal of the original series. I still won’t be surprised if they manage to pull out another season as a sequel to the fall episodes though.
I am also assuming this is most likely a series of shorts? There doesn’t seem like there is going to be that much content from the manga to adapt, so if they decide to make it a show with twenty minute or so episodes they’ll have to squeeze in some original jokes. |
