I really like the franchise's universal setting. That will definitely make localization a lot easier than the Japanese-centric Yo-kai Watch. I know that Level 5 hasn't announced anything regarding a Western release of Snack World, but I can tell that it's coming soon.

That's some interesting use of squash-and-stretch there. Makes every character look like rubber, but I guess that's the intent. Certainly, it makes the animation look way more energetic than your usual Japanese 3-D CGI.
I remember seeing a long time back on Anime News Network an English-dubbed trailer for Snack World. That means, at the very least, the interest is there for a western release. |
