I always kind of cringe when Ichigo's hair is drawn with a slight droop in fanart, and this key visual kind of does the same. I've always imagined there was a way to spike it in live-action without it looking too over-the-top. I'm sure at least one cosplayer, and there have been many with BLEACH, has done it right in the past.

Hair gel. I remember Ichigo's hair getting droopy when it's wet.

The sword is wrong and i know i'm nitpicking, but it's not supposed to have a guard or even the handle that it does. It's supposed to wrapped in a white cloth, unless it's in it's shikai or bankai state, which it doesnt.

It's not wrong though? This is exactly how his sword looks in the first part of the series, during the Karakura town arc, before he gets his first shikai

how much of Bleach have you seen? Because this is Ichigo's first zanpactou from the beginning of the series, he didn't get the more iconic sword that's wrapped in white cloth until soul society.

The world 見参 literally means "meeting" but in this case it's more proper to translate it as "appear" or "arrive". So the entire sentence should read as "A shinigami arrives"

I've watched and read it all, but it's been years since i've touched the first season/volume stuff.

I've long grown sick and tired of the Bleach anime--but I'm still open to seeing how this movie turns out. I'm one of the bigger American fans of Japanese live-action adaptations and I've liked many of the director's other movies (Gantz and Library Wars in particular), so chances are this movie will hopefully be cool/fun in its own way.

For the moment, we don't have to worry about a whitewashed Hollywood version. I'd rather have a butchered Japanese live-action "Bleach" than a whitewashed Hollywood version.
