i thought bandai namco pictures supposed to make anime/cartoon materials that cater on kid/family stuff? Then why did they animate a male idol group then? That's supposed to be a job for sunrise , right?

From the tone of the anime, this was really for kids.

It also just felt really generic, there was nothing that interesting about it.

How funny the timing is. I just finished the first season of the anime and am now starting R. It's not anything mind blowing, but I've been enjoying it.
