To me, "worldwide" for a site like Crunchyroll would mean all territories outside of Japan. I think it would best for Netflix to not even consider getting this show because of their preferred binge watching method.

I stil don't understand why you're so hellbent on insulting the food. Everyone has different opinions on what kind of food they enjoy. Also to my knowledge the food isn't exactly "cheap", plus it's supposed to be unrealistically good. Almost like the food is magic and the chef is a wizard in a sense.

RIP Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS

EDIT: IT's highly likely that Crunchyroll will stream this title since they like getting shows that are food-related.

The author just made a generic fantasy setting with goobers going nuts over Japanese food. There's an arc where a noble tries to get Nobu shut down for selling lager and their chef even calls their lager a pilsner. So for the noble to actually recognize the Pilsner for what it was the setting would have to be similar to our world in the 1800s. A lot of the magic would be lost at that point.

Fair enough, but I mainly mean that food in a lot of cooking shows both in Japan and the West make the food seem unrealisticly good. Also part of my point is that some people genuinely love McDonald's food. So people loving "cheap" Japanese food isn't that surprising to me. This series is somewhat fun as casual entertainment in my opinion, I'm not arguing it's amazing or anything like that.

It's safe to say that Crunchyroll might get this since they get a lot of the seasonal simulcasts. If this gets simuldub this with Jill Harris as that bonnet-wearing girl, they have me sold.

Katsumi Ono (Hataraki Man, Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) is directing the anime at Sunrise. Shin Yoshida (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Speed Grapher) is supervising and writing the series scripts

By the gods. What has Sunrise done? How ironic. The past few days I've been itching for the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga to get a 1:1 anime remake and wondered if Sunrise would animate it (They've done over 300 episodes of Gintama while a Yu-Gi-Oh! remake would be around 150 episodes) then I read this article.
