The first three volumes each have three television episodes and cost 12,800 yen (about US$115). The fourth release will have only one television episode and the "completely new animation," and still cost the same as the previous three volumes.

Well, gotta pay for that new animation somehow, lol. Anyways, these inter-volume OVAs are pretty standard fare these days that of course, almost never show up on streaming sites. Violet Evergarden just announced one a few days ago too. I just hope CR/Funi also licenses them for the home video release of Uma Musume (usually they do) and likewise whoever licenses Violet Evergarden.

Have FuniRoll announced a home release for UmaMusume?

That sounded weird (episode 10 + one original? Set between episodes 10 and 11?) so I looked it up.
Apparently there are four episodes per volume, so volumes 1-3 have episodes 1-12, and then the fourth release will have episode 13 (presumably) + the one new episode.

The November 14 release will contain a "completely new animation."

But the operative question is this: will we finally see footage of the characters in which they reveal the featureless areas of their heads where human ears would typically be found?
