I did not know that Satoshi Shiki was making doujinshi under the pen name Nagoya Shachihachi.
Interesting stuff for those who care.

Did this really need to be 15+ volumes, though? The source novel has 3.

I never quite understood what happened to Satoshi Shiki. His art in Before the Fall is pretty decent in my eyes, but nothing to write home about. Too many close-ups, backgrounds are rare, sparse, and often filled with weird lighting to avoid drawing the thing in whole.

I feel like his art peaked with the first volume of Kamikaze and was never that good again ever since. Idk.

Finally the end to this trainwreck is drawing near. People say Bleach, Naruto and Fairy Tail had dragged out stories. They should give this a read... Big fat volumes full of meh art and even more meh "plot".
