It should be noted that for the past couple of episodes, Keichii Nakagawa (Professor Kukui) has been playing the role of the narrator, and I'm assuming that he's going to remain in that role going forward. I'm not entirely certain why Nakagawa has been voicing the narrator if Ishizuka did indeed continue recording lines up through episode 80, but I guess the specific batch of episodes airing right now were recorded at a point where he was unavailable or something? (His voice did technically appear in this week's episode, but since it was just a Pokémon who has appeared before, it's possible that they just reused old sound-clips from the last time said Pokémon showed up.)

Probably, Prof Oak and Narrator from Pokemon anime will be replaced by Kazuhiro Yamaji since he has a similar voice type.

I wonder why is it necessary to replace the voice at all.

Nowadays, why not arrange royalties with the actor's descendants and continue to use his original voice? There is no issue in adapting the endless archive of the words he has pronounced to whatever new next needed to be said -- especially with the advancements in neural networks-based AI.

Ethical problem aside, voice synthetizing is still not perfect, even with the most advanced ones they still sounding noticably "robotic." this is especially true for especially for someone with voice as distinctive as Ishizuka. Not to mention the amount of effort it take to make the voice sounds as natural as actual human. Finding a new voice actor is much cheaper and takes less effort.
