Whoa did Papa to Oyaji... vol.9 rise in ranking? That would be pretty nice. I'm glad it's on the list at all (no matter how low, it's still higher than a lot of manga I read), it's such a cute manga and it deserves more recognition. I'm still convinced that the only reason it doesn't have an anime or TV drama series yet is because TPTB are still racking their brains trying to figure out how to sell it in a way that doesn't scream "TWO SINGLE FATHERS LIVING TOGETHER!!!! GIRLS START YOUR ENGINES!!" but is not quite "NO HOMO! NO HOMO WHATSOEVER HERE!!" either. (Funnily enough it's actually really not BL*, even if the two guys might as well be married at this point...)
*The BL here is the author's other work on the list, "30-sai made Dōtei da to Mahōtsukai ni Nareru rashii" aka Cherry-Maho. It's also a really cute manga that has kind of become my go-to work to rec to people new to BL. Also, I meant it to say this last time, but "Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan 2" is surely "Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Nomi 2", no? That's what came out at the same time as Uchi Gohan vol 9 (and Cherry-Maho vol 1). Uchi Nomi is a spinoff of Uchi Gohan where they make food to go with drinks. |

OP stays at #1. Kenshin only did 22k, but that's ok. People still bought it because they are fans.
