This is really good, i am hoping to see how they will talk about its pop culture and how it affects on North American, and Europe as well.

In one way this feels like it could really open doors. But at the same time recent events have lead me to be careful of when a hobby gets too mainstream, if you know what I mean.

I'm definitely hoping for the best: that anime gets more exposure and opportunities while also retaining its uniquely Japanese and otaku-esque elements but the spectre of Western social pressure over issues of gender politics and political correctness hitting anime is simply too much of a red flag for me to ignore at this point; not to mention the need to make anime more palatable to a "mainstream crowd" going forward. I hope I'm wrong here, but I'm not the only who feels this way, I read an article a while back that was specifically warning about this.
