Well this makes me incredibly sad. I never thought this would happen with season 3 airing in a couple weeks.

Since all of Atto's manga are in a pseudo shared universe ("pseudo" since it's left ambiguous in Non Non Biyori whether the demon girls that Hikage Miyauchi knows in Tokyo in Koakuma Meringue exist in the Non Non Biyori timeline), it doesn't mean you won't still see the Non Non Biyori characters show up from time to time in whatever manga he does next.
I wonder what he'll do next? I wouldn't be too surprised if it's a manga with a side character like Akane Shinoda as the star. There's also an outside chance that Non Non Biyori will continue, just in a different magazine or at a different publisher. |
