It's on Hidive, and as long as it's with Sentai it will remain exclusive to Hidive, especially with Crunchyroll & FUNimation now both being owned by Sony.

As for the news itself, this is actually interestingly good timing. Gunlock first adapted the Hazel Arc, but since the Reload manga was still running at that point it obviously goes into a very different direction. That being said, Gunlock's version still hits some of the same exact thematic plot points as what the manga would go on to do, so it's cool that people can check now check out Gunlock's take on that arc, and then watch the new manga-accurate anime adaptation of it when the new series debuts later this year.

Hulu also has the first season, but only the English dub.

This might be a sign to continue the Saiyuki series. I watched the first season and the Requiem movie when I was in high school and stopped after finding out they changed the voice cast. Maybe I'll get over it and it won't be so bad, or I'll switch to Japanese if it's too different, idk.

I watched all of Saiyuki dubbed during lockdown last year and the only voice that I really disliked in Gunlock was Goku's. (Sorry, Yuri Lowenthal, you're good at other roles though! Sad ) I also wasn't crazy about Gojyo's either, but his voice never went back to the original after the Gaiden OVAs, which is a shame because I loved that voice for him. I'm kind of sad that Funimation got the new anime series instead of Sentai. But as long as Greg Ayres voices Goku, I won't complain too much. But tl;dr it's watchable.
