So no movie, huh? Welp, the writing goes downhill now anyway, so not really excited tbh. Still, good to know that we are going to get a full adaptation!

I am so glad. I expected a full adaptation, but this more or less confims it.

A year between the premieres kinda makes it feel like different seasons.

Why do people keep expecting a movie? There's literally 5 1/2 volumes left to cover

Wishful thinking considering the content in those volumes is not feasible under current circumstances without compromises.. A movie would mean more animators would be willing to participate due to higher unit price.

But a movie would also struggle to cover just 1-2 volumes, much less nearly 6 more. The 16 episodes of "Final Season" covered about 6 volumes of the manga, so it ideally would need another 16 episodes to finish it up.

The manga got too popular. So one asspull after another, and a heavy does of talk no jutsu.

Why do people want a movie when people would just complain about having to wait if we had one?

You'll either get people complain about having to wait or people complain about the art & animation quality.

Heavy disagree. spoiler[ The Paths chapters and Alliance content is really interesting and well done. A lot of characters step up and get chances to be in the limelight which is refreshing.]

I knew this would happen. We were promised a full adaptation of the manga, they're not going to disappoint. As for the long time frame, that could mean they're discussing how they will go about this and how many episodes they need to animate.

As long as the quality remains the same, I don't mind waiting 9 months for the second part of the final season. I just hope it will be at least 12 episodes long, considering how much material it's supposed to cover.

next cour is winter 2022. winter anime season starts in january. so for us it sounds confusing when they say winter 2022. we think december of next year when in reality its january of next year. which is 9 months away

can we start removing some of these comments please, although they aren't exactly saying what happens, i feel like hinting at them definitely does ruin the wait.
