Really, good on them for not belaboring the point. Hopefully nobody actually thought the showrunners were brave enough to keep them killed off, so there wasn't exactly any narrative tension for them to ruin. |

I hope for the fans sake this series actually goes somewhere. Kinda of given up hope for there being any justice for Kagome. They will probably 'plot twist' her into something unrecognizable in the end.

Yeah, I think we all called it! spoiler[Lets face it, no way is anyone convinced that Setsuna is going to stay dead for long and at least they are not beating around the bush this time! No more wasting time on pointless filler!]
After a lackluster first season where not much has happened, this peak into the next season definitely looks like it is making up for the first season's slog big time! It shouldn't be during the last third of the season is where the plot starts getting more serious but better late than never I guess. Anyways, Moroha reuniting with her parents is what we've all been waiting for! I am definitely sticking around just for that! As for the new poster for season 2, it does look pretty neat and will there be more time travel involved this time? I felt that ever since the girls traveled back to the Feudal Era and stayed there for the majority of the season, the series kind of lost its footing but with the glimpse of that ominous meteor approaching the modern era very soon, the stakes has been raised a whole lot more! Hope to see more time travel involved where the present day will be important and be affected more in the plot just to make this series stand out more from its predecessor. |

Well, now that I think about it the only characters dying in the first series besides the villains was Kikyo who was already dead like Kenshiro says. Still, for the keyvisual to show this sure is hilarious. Back to status quo?

Considering Moroha's lack of interest in that matter despite meeting her grandparents, I wouldn't get your hopes up. I am mainly concerned about what went on with Kagome, and how she is going to react, if they meet up. You might be right and it will be a fantastic reunion, but they would have to pretend the first season didn't exist. Or they might play it as a non-event. Like, hi, we are your parents; okay nice to meet you. good bye. If that happens, then I will say, "Yashahime, you are dead to me". So it will be a fatalistic viewing for me. |
