It is an anime movie or a live-action movie? I thought it was an anime movie...

It's an animated movie, but like in other big-name animated movies in Japan and the rest of the world, the producers often cast famous live-action actors and singers in the lead roles. On the other hand, some of these high-profile Japanese actors do have voice-acting experience.
