I'm glad it's coming to a close. It hit its peak with the culture festival arc. While it still has great moments, it feels like it's time to end.

spoiler[No surprise. The whole initial premise was Kaguya and Shiogane trying to get the other to confessed but they already did so it is just resolving some remaining plot threads and then it is done.

I'm just a little disappointed that Hayasaka doesn't get a love interest and I don't think one arc is going to give her one but we will see.

They can always do a sequel/spinoff with her though]

I wouldn't necessarily say that. spoiler[Aka has been teasing us with the Chika route for a long time as she's shown interests towards her, we'll see whether it's going to remain a joke or he actually wants to commit.]

As for the sequel/spinoff, Oshi no Ko is basically one, as he's confirmed it takes place in the same universe, only in the future. Some of the characters might reappear again, even if it's only a cameo. At the very least we know Sweet Today exists as a manga in the OnK universe and spoiler[it has been adapted into a truly atrocious TV drama.]

Not sure how much of the manga has been covered or might be covered once the 3rd season comes, but hopefully with an ending in sight we could see the whole thing animated.

I was hoping they'd go into a college arc but I guess this means the story will mostly stick with their time in high school. The final arc would still be pretty long since there's quite a lot of loose ends that Aka-sensei has been tying up.

Sad to hear it's ending, but I hope Aka can bring it to a satisfactory conclusion.

Sad to hear its ending, but all good things must come to an end some time.

A year or two ago, I would have been sad.

spoiler[But since they got together and Kaguya's personality has done a complete 180, I stopped reading. The Kaguya I enjoyed would have found a way to trick, convince, or blackmail her brother and then her father, not turned into a meek, weeping shirking violet who needs saving. After those arcs, I was out.

I am happy they actually had sex instead of dragging it out. That mini-arc was at least amusing.]

Maybe someday Akasaka will want to take a trip to California off on their taxes to do location research. Shirogane is going to Stanford, isn't he? And he's talked Shinomiya into going too, I think?

Don't forget this manga was on Hiatus for quite awhile and it came back not long ago.
It makes me sad it's ending just like that but also reasonable considering the length.

I guess I'm also stumped up because it's rare to see good Manga now in days or maybe it's not just getting translated? It's all about Chinese Novels/Comics these days because they're the easiest to get!
