Makes sense to release Ninja Robots in 2 parts IMO since they've been sitting on it for so long with trouble finding dub masters and just plain dub recordings from broadcast TV on VHS. Hope it breaks even for them. I'll pick it up eventually.

Grabbing Urusei Yatsura ASAP. Hopefully good sales of the movies will eventually led them to getting the OVA's even if I would love the TV series more but that's almost 200 episodes.

Note on Appleseed, this was one of the titles among the film prints that were found while AnimEigo was looking for Madox-01 for their Kickstarter.

Remember when I said we found some cool other stuff in the vault when we found A-ko? More still coming. Also we dug out some materials from the US and UK releases that haven't been on disc before. Cool stuff. https://twitter.com/discotekmedia/status/1456683356788199430

So this makes three revealed so far along with Project A-Ko & the Fatal Fury OVAs.

Man, much as I love the easy accessibility of classics these days, what I’ve really been holding out for is Angel’s Egg and Neo-Tokyo. Two obvious 80s greats you’d think would’ve been snatched up ages ago. Anyone know if there’s some legal/financial hang-ups re: either or both?

I love the classic Appleseed OVA and I think it's underrated and a lot better than the CGI movies. I'm glad to see this classic coming to BD. I'm not super interested in Ninja Robots but I've been following the search for the dud and it's impressive how much effort Discotek put into finding it.

Back in 1985, the anime Ninja Senshi Tobikage was released (I personally watched it in the 90s). I really liked the anime itself. Mecha, fights, and most importantly a love triangle. And the culprits of this event are Joe May, Rennie Ai and Romina Radoria. The anime consists of 43 episodes (the last two are just a retelling of the past events of the title). And what saddened me most was that the ending remained open. And I really wanted Joe to choose both girls at once. Personally, I liked Romina better.

Therefore, I really ask you to write a sequel in fanfic format about the sequel to Ninja Senshi Tobikage. Where, having already arrived on the planet Radoria (Romina's homeland), hero's will face a new threat and only Joe, controlling the robot Tobikage, will be able to free the planet from tyranny. Plus there will be a wedding at the end where Joe marries Rennie and Romina (adult scenes are also welcome).

35 years have passed since the release date of this anime. Please write a full sequel. I believe in you.

Never say goodbye!
