There doesn't really need to be any more games in the Nier franchise anyway.
Nier Automata felt like a fine conclusion

That makes sense. Yoko Taro doesn't seem like the type to keep beating on a horse that's finished.

Exactly, its was a conclusive ending and Yoko Taro dosent look like the type to milk his games.

starting with a rhythm game...then a fighting game...etc
