Whoa this brings back memories. Read this manga like super long ago. Kinda wish they made an anime adaptation of it. Could have also been an OVA since the manga is short. It's about 2 or 3 volumes, I think. But I guess Arigatou also had a live action adaptation. And, I guess, seinen like this usually only are adapted as live action movie or tv series.
It's kinda interesting and strange though that they are adapting this now rather than back then since this story and in general cults are more of early 2000s and the era before it. I don't think today's audience will have a connection to it. |
