They're not only showing the documentary, but also Millenium Actress, Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, and Paprika. All free.

Kon wasn't just a anime director, he was a film maker. Miyazaki is as well but Kon showed anime films aren't just for kids and parents. They can have mature themes and suspenseful just as live action films. Plus his use of imagery and color is amazing. He's still missed by all anime fans and we are left to ponder what else he could have given us.

He was Able to create so many classic anime in such a short amount of time. He’s a legend.

I have seen this at our local film festival. I already knew a lot of the stuff they talked about but it was still worthwhile to watch it.

He was too young.
