I think the English translation can be accessed already on the Switch if you get it from the JP eshop and your console language is set to English. Not sure how exactly, but hey It's pretty good

the game already has an english localization for both platforms depending on system language, this seems to just be a proper local physical/digital release

This, considering if you import the game either physically/digitally. It already has English text anyways.

But anyways, at least it'll have a physical release stateside.
