Well, that's a baffling press release. Condolences to the staff writer who had to try to parse it out.

The problem is that it sounds like there are two manga coming out: Muv-Luv Alternative (which is already available direct from aNCHOR and on the Crunchyroll manga site, though not in the app), and "Muv-Luv". Thing is, it's not clear what the latter refers to. In the visual novels, Muv-Luv (as a marketing name) contains the first two parts of the trilogy: Muv-Luv Extra and Muv-Luv Unlimited.

Both Extra and Unlimited did get manga releases, but they're fairly obscure and not particularly well-regarded (certainly not in comparison to Asuza Maxima's Alternative manga), and they've never been translated into English. If the point of this announcement is that those two manga are coming over as part of this deal, then they have well and truly buried the lead. More likely, since the press release talks about the 16 available volumes (which is how much of the Alternative manga has been translated and made available by aNCHOR), they're simply confused as to their own offering.

I was wondering which manga adaptions to check out, so thanks for this!
