Ending this season with a bang with Kurumi.

(So we can't get the Spirits naked when they're sealed anymore but we can get Kurumi stripping naked?)

I've been watching DAL IV mostly for completion's sake, but this new arc is the first time I'm actually anticipating the next episodes a little. Kurumi has been the series' best and most interesting character ever since her first appearance, and in the long view it's like Shido had to level up his game considerably before tackling his toughest potential conquest. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

You gotta love Tohka as well though. One of the best girls in all of anime.

You gotta love Tohka as well though. One of the best girls in all of anime.


Kurumi is why DAL has a rather good sci-fi story hidden amongst it's tropes- hence her being the "best" girl.

There's a -end of the story- spoiler why I do not consider Tohka the best ship...

Tohka had her moments early on, but as the story progressed (and especially as the number of other Spirits rose), she fell too much into the "earnest airhead" stereotype to stick out much for me. Saying that she's a victim of the series' success might be accurate.
