Apparently I saw that Season 1 will stream worldwide on Netflix and in North America and some European countries by HIDIVE, as well as some more European countries by Crunchyroll.

It'll all start July 7th.

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion the director already confirmed on Twitter that the staff is the same as in S1.

Wonder what the reactions will be, especially those who've only watched the previous anime?...

Farmland Saga albeit great from a quality standpoint, is extremely boring. Also, the stupid non violence policy preaching is bullcrap to me.

So which company will be licensed and dubbing this anime, CR, Netflix or Sentai ? i really hope it will get simuldubbed because the setting itself was better in dub than sub.

I am glad to see a date. The production values look inferior to seasone one's. And MAPPA is taking over everything.

Same. This is a really great arc. I would hate for people to give up on the series because it's become less action-heavy.

Nice! I shall visually burn and pillage the show when it returns. Oh and thanks manga readers for giving hints about the arc. Wow, I'd really hate to experience an adaptation by knowing absolutely nothing about it going in for once. Rolling Eyes

I can't speak for anyone else, but I think letting people know that this season will be less action-packed than the first one is a fair warning.

(Also, if you're serious about avoiding spoilers, never read forum threads for stuff you're interested in Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop)

The Vinland Saga dub situation is truly bizarre. I have no idea what they’re going to do with S2, but my guess it that it will just depend on who gets the initial rights. It’s going to be a weird situation no matter what, especially with both S1 dubs becoming much more accessible due to streaming (where as originally the Netflix S1 dub was only available through Netflix Japan, and Sentai’s dub was only for those who bought the blu-ray).

Sentai would be my first choice(seeing as they have season 1) and CR my second. I just hope it doesn't go to Netflix because I'm not going to play ball with their release schedule.

The setting maybe, but the JP cast was really good, Askeladd has to be one of the best performances I've ever heard in JP.

MAPPA will literally adapt anything, even a Jim Carrey memoir.

Wonder if that means Netflix and Sentai will be streaming their exclusive dubs. Guessing Netflix will probably get S2 and it’ll take years before Sentai can grab the bluray rights and get their cast together to dub that.
