Wow, I never thought I would see genderbent Terry Bogard, are we going to see other male fighter getting genderbending like maybe a genderbent Ryu? This is kinda neat but I hope this doesn't draw a backlash hopefully.

While it's possible this is the first official figure, the design itself was previously featured as a means of including Terry in the "SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy" game a few years back (as mentioned in the article) |

for context ( as we are talking about decades old stuff here).
in a Capcom game in the 90s, dark stalkers there was a move named midnight bliss that turned male characters into female because our gentlemanly vampire was sexist and did not want to drink blood from males. later on Capcom and snk had crossover games, año put the vampire in their version for the crossover and that is the origin of the gender bent SNK characters like terry. at around that time and also made a female only fighting game,.for some reason Iori Yagami was here tho he was crossdressing. fast forward to a. few years ago, snk made the snk heroines game with an all female cast, and somehow some male characters made it there too, but instead.of crossdressing they got grinder bent. with that out of the way, there is also a snk game where an older terry appears ans he has (practically if not legally) adopted a kid, back in the mid 2ks i stumbled upon a small set of wholesome fanarts with older Terry and her adopted kid.. yes, i said her because this was an older gender bent version for terry that we affectionately called mama terry. |

I understand and have the article carefully, but still it doesn't mean it can face a backlash from people that hate gender-bendering/gender-fluid re-imagining. I mean there has been controversy and backlash over this. I don't want to see SNK being a target and victim of this right-wing backlash. |
