Thrilled to see the Rebuild World manga! So now J Novel has both versions. Man, I really hope we get to see some more physical releases from them. Having Rebuild and even Misfit would be awesome.

*sigh* I suppose Reincarnated as an Apple is no more absurd than Reincarnated as a Vending Machine as an isekai idea. Reincarnated as a Sword turned out well enough, so maybe I'll bite (ugh).

Rebuild World is doing okay as a light novel, so maybe you manga guys out there will appreciate it. There's a girl whose nanomachine level is reflected in her bust size, so there's that.

Rather, there was a pretty well-drawn manga that came out in the last batch, The Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter. The story's not so engrossing yet, but I'm enjoying the artwork at least. Manga isn't normally my style.

If you're looking at the last batch of light novels, I suppose Min-Maxing My TRPG Build in Another World is worth an honorable mention. At the very least, I look forward to each week's new addition, and it has a cast of interesting characters. Yeah, you should probably give that one a try if any.

I always click these links hoping I'll see Twelve Kingdoms. Maybe one day. Someday.

And maybe the LOGH Gaidens too, now that Haikasoru is gone.

If I ever get hit by a truck, please reincarnate me in a world without isekai light novels.

I hope to God never to be hit by an Amazon truck, who the heck would know what I'd end up being.

I always dread the day JNC announces new licences. They already give us too many to read.

The light novel author of the Vending Machine LN, made it work Whether the Apple author does the same, remains to be seen.

Lot of interesting light novels here, to separate me from my money.

Add on: They already have started putting up the chapters on the J-Novel web site.

I have the old English releases (I think it was Tokyopop? It goes up to volume 4) on top of copies of the Japanese novels (up to 6, some volumes split) and I've already promised to buy extra copies for my friends if they release/re-release them in English.

I'd also be ecstatic to see Guin Saga published in English again. And more Record of Lodoss War, please! Classics are so good.

I don't understand the appeal of becoming an inanimate object. Does the target audience just not want to eat or have agency?

It occurs to me that it happened a bunch in Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, and "not having agency" was probably a big part of why -- that is, it meant scenarios where the hero can get into porny situations with the harem and it's unquestionably Not His Fault.

Or being something cool like a mech as mecha in isekai is a thing.
