I wish I could be there too. It looks so fantastic! I adore old anime and manga!

The lack of actual 90s artists is what gets me. Nothing against their chosen lineup since I'm also fond of their work, but for a genuine dose of 90s nostalgia I'd be far more willing to pay good money to see someone like Megumi Hayashibara performing her greatest hits live.

To appeal more to the 90s aesthetic, they'll be passing out mood rings, flannel shirts and rollerskates, offer to give people flattops and colorful overalls, and everyone will be permitted to make fun of LGBTQ's for the duration of the event.

Rose-colored glasses are great, aren't they?

The DJ's listed are great, but it's more difficult for older artists to travel that far (especially if they are still active voice actors).

If you ever plan to visit Japan, check out Mishio Suzuki's posts on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/340age26 )

She is an anison and tokusatsu fan who not only writes about the older artists but organises lots of live events (links below are to articles in English):

Well since the musical guests are DJs, they could at least play 90s anison.

I mean, they'd better.
