Another manwha gets an anime adaption and it is another one I read.

Not a big fan of the anime art though, the manhwa art was very pretty but that anime art is very bland

I thought this series was interesting, but as someone who knows maybe a little too much medical history compared to the average person, it was impossible not to see how much the author was just ripping wholesale from historical events. ^^; A neat premise, but not enough originality for my taste. Also oof, that art style does not look promising. Pour another one out for rough female-oriented isekai adaptations.

Can believe this title started the "manhwa can't be shoujo" debate on twitter? Me neither.
Anyway, it's not for me but hopefully it can satisfy fans of the original work and bring new ones in.

I remember really enjoying this when I read it because it was one of the first "villainess" webtoons I read where the main heroine experienced a double reincarnation (to modern day and then back to her original world), and it gave her a much more intimate relationship with the people in the world (since she actually knew and genuinely cared about them from the get-go) than other webtoons of its ilk. Now, these kinds of premises are a dime a dozen, but it felt super fresh back then!

Like most other villainess webtoons, though, I felt that the romance was mediocre, though at least the ML was easy to root for, unlike some other MLs in this increasingly crowded subgenre.
