Can someone who has read the manga summarize what its about? Like just the bare plot details so I get a sense of the story. Its hard to find any details! (Knapsack kid too if anyone knows them, please!!)

This is based on a light novel series. Sister Venturing out is the 8th volume, and Knapsack Kid is the 9th volume. I don't think there are manga adaptations of those particular volumes yet (though there are of some earlier volumes). Have you seen or read Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai? I was unsure from your post if you had started the franchise at all yet, but if you haven't, that's the starting point of franchise, so it is what you will want to look at first if you're curious (the Bunny Girl Senpai anime which covers the first five volumes is streaming on Crunchyroll). If you have already started the franchise and wanting to specifically know the story of these two volumes, I can help since I've read them, though honestly I recommend going in blind once you've watched/read everything that comes before.

My bad, I was unclear.
I have seen all of the series and movie to date. I just wasnt sure where the story went from here. I was vaguely looking for the equivalent of the back of the book, you know? Just a plot summary of the 2 new films so I had some idea what to expect. Smile

Story-wise you can consider them a follow up to Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Home Alone (which was the last arc of the TV anime) in that they focus on Sakuta's family. Speaking of back of the book, I looked up the actual ones on the novels from Yen, and I think they do a fairly good job of the story basics:
