That does sound like quite the list of easily-fixed issues. What an odd decision to let an entire block of people line up with no direction, and let them head to a small room with only space for 100. Rather baffling.

I confess I have no idea what the word activation means in this context. Can somebody help me out? Usually, I'd try Google instead of asking the question but I'm not even sure how to frame the question in a way that would get me an answer. |

It's the new marketing buzzword for "photo op." I say "new" but it's been in regular usage for a few years. Any big, interactable thing you see at a con is an "activation."
