I hope netflix actually gives US viewers the ability to play in Japanese. Despite a decent amount of the anime cast returning, the Netflix bebop does not allow Japanese audio to be accessed.

Neat. As much as I like the Japanese cast I’m probably gonna watch it in English.

That's cool, although it might be kind of surreal hearing the Japanese VA's play the live-action versions.

I gotta say, feels like they are putting a lot of effort into making the show as palpable as possible for a live-action version of OP. It just radiates with the right kind of energy. Even if it isn't a great or even good adaptation of the manga's/anime's story(i.e. it's still good in its own right), that all the effort that's been shown thus far is rewarded.

I now realize the real reason why the Tokyo Babylon 2021 project was canceled. They didn't bring back the old cast and staff from the original OVA. What do you think?

Not trying to be nitpicky, but is Iñaki Godoy, with an Ñ, that's an alt+164 on your keyboard.

That was really sweet, I've always loved Mayumi Tanaka, but it was also nice seeing Luffy's actor so excited to see her. He comes across as a really nice guy.

On the contrary, it just makes me want to see it fail all the more. They're dumping way too many resources and time into this that could have gone elsewhere. They're even doing Figuarts of the live-action cast which is ridiculous when there's still characters from the anime who don't have Figuarts . If this flops then they'll learn their lesson that fans dont want this.

Jesus dude, you are one negative person. How someone sees all this and still wishes for that. SMH couldn’t be me.
