Surprise same-day dub! Also another basic Harem show seemingly made up mostly of newer or rookie dub names (and Brittany Lauda who probably is the biggest name in this group).

last year CR had lots of backlog dubs like TSUKIMICHI, Takt Op Destiny, Given, Sing Yesterday for me and even they give an english of dub Yuru Camp and Natsume for the first time. But now, it seems that CR less doing backlogs anymore i wonder why ? We never get an english dub of Bocchi The Rock, Fuuto p.i, Campfire Cooking, Skip and Loafer, Dance dance danseur, one hit kill sister, The Cafe Terace and its Goddess.

Love Live! Superstar!! Season 2 as well. They haven't done any backlog dubs this year. |

Of all those shows, why pick this empty vessel for a coveted same-day dub? It’s just kinda soul crushing. There are so many better, more deserving shows out there.
I mean, not even Jujutsu Kaisen or Mushoku Tensei—two big summer anime—are getting same-day dubs. How the hell did this show—which prompted one reviewer to say, “Even if you're into this brand of isekai, this should only be your last resort”—win the dub lottery? Just shaking my head. |

Usually its because the show has a healthy enough production schedule. its possible they have completed enough of it to the point that if it does collapse later, it wont impact the production of the dub

Maybe they aren’t concerned with making a quality dub cause the show is disposable.

I think Mr. Rahul Purini is to blame for all of this mess. For the past 3 seasons we only got 1 backlog dub a season. I've been contacting crunchyroll since fall 2022 and asking for backlogs. If anything, Mr. Purini needs to be fired. |

This seems to me to be the most likely explanation for this surprising development. Even though people around here often underestimate the popularity of both harem series and lower-end isekai series (at least in part, I think, because they often don't get picked up for episode reviews), this one strikes me as an odd choice for simuldub for any other reason. |

Is funny that except Bocchi the Rock, the other series you mentioned got an spanish dub for latam subscribers, I guess some times living in the third-world has its perks. |
