Considering the current actors' strike, I'm curious what the situation is here. Is this a union production that is an exception to the strike? Is it non-union? It's an LA cast using their real names, so that might not be real great where the union is concerned. Then again, not much has really come of that sort of thing before. Crunchyroll has been resistant to union contracts before, so I can't imagine they'd change that stance now.

This dub was never union to begin with. And Bob Bergen has stated that anime dubs have nothing to do with the strike. https://twitter.com/BobBergen/status/1679577599490785282

Dubs union and non-union are not affected by the strike. Non-union for obvious reasons but union dubs, like video games, are under different contracts that aren't yet up for renegotiation to begin with. With prelay tv cartoons it's a case by case basis depending on their contracts/studios/etc... but the voice-over work that is primarily affected are animated feature/theatrical films (think your typical Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Sony movie) and ADR looping in post to fix up live-action dialogue.

Ben Diskin quit during season 4(and My Hero Academia as well) because of that
