I am really pleased by the continued success of Pikmin 4. It has always been a great series, but the previous games never really took off.

Same here. My only complaint is the flying pikmin seem almost useless compared to their debut in 3 which is sad because they are my favorite type. Hopefully they can balance that out in Pikmin 5.

Every pikmin game beyond the first one always has one or two pikmin that get nerfed pretty badly compared to the previous game. I remember the white and blue pikmin in pikmin 3 feeling less than stellar, especially the white one.
