Would be nice if the author started writing again. They released volume 22 back when season 1 was still airing in June 2019, and no volumes ever since. And the series celebrates its 10th anniversary since volume 1 was published this month.

The last light novel volume was released in English back in December 2021 but nothing since. The manga is still being released in English though with the last volume releasing just in February over here. Has the manga surpassed the light novel at this point? |

It is not even close. The anime will pass the manga after the first cour of s3. The manga is adapting Vol 10, while the season 2 of the anime ended at vol. 9 |
