Sundome is a unique manga. Wonder how they will do the live action show. Strong subject matter.

WoW! I remember reading this as the manga came out and wondering if this was ever going to be animated thinking it was too cringey and that ending, but live action series? I know there were movies, but they can flesh wink, wink these characters out now. Curious to see this...

I enjoyed it. It's definitely softcore hentai right up until it's hardcore hentai, but there's an underlying tone of suspense through the story that really keeps you reading that I found more intriguing than some of the other big name ero manga.

With mature manga like Akai Ringo and Boy's Abyss getting live-action adaptations, this one will be quite interesting... especially towards the end of the series.

This article does have a serie of errors:

The first one is about this new mine series being the fourth live-action adaptation, not the third.

-The first one was titled Sundome, it was four movies released between 2007 and 2009.
-The second one was titled again Sundome, it was two movies released on 2015.
-The third one was titled SundomeNew, it was two movies released on 2017.

The second error is that Sundome was eight volumes long, the one that was nine volumes long was Hop Step Jump, its direct forerunner at the Young Champion magazine.

Now talking about the news per se, it was wondering if there were movies based on Kazuto Okada manga coming on the near future, seeing the last one was on 2019, just before COVID throw a spanner in the works to everything under the Sun, I was expecting a Pansuto two movies live action adaptation as it is usual bussiness for them and because it was pretty recently finished, instead we got the FOURTH live-action adapatation for Sundome.
